Hi, my name is Michelle, and I started the Poppy Love Foundation in memory of my beloved pup, Poppylynn—a tiny fighter who beat parvo because a non-profit took a chance on her.

Poppylynn came into our lives scared, sick, and barely hanging on. She had parvo, a deadly virus that many don’t survive. But a nonprofit stepped in and made the choice to treat her, despite the high cost. That decision gave her a second chance—and gave us the gift of loving her for the rest of her days.

When Poppylynn passed, I knew I had to carry on her legacy.

That’s why I created the Poppy Love Foundation: to raise funds for local Oklahoma rescues that pull sick, injured, and forgotten animals off euthanasia lists—but can’t always afford the medical care those animals desperately need.

The reality:
Rescues are drowning in vet bills. Emergency surgeries, parvo treatments, amputations, medications—they all add up fast. Without help, rescues are forced to say no to animals who need them most.

Our mission:
We raise money to help pay off or pay down medical bills so rescues can say YES to more lives in need. Every dollar raised goes directly to covering medical costs for dogs and cats that otherwise wouldn’t stand a chance.
