Event Description
Charm City Run is bringing a NEW summer run series to the community hosted by Rabbit! Join us on Saturday, June 20 in Fells Point as we kick off the Summer Rabbit Run Series with a special Juneteenth Celebration Fun Run!
Juneteenth commemorates the day in 1865 when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas to enforce the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, which was signed two years prior. In recognition of this important moment in history, this run is a celebration of black movement, empowerment, and community.
Nate from Rabbit will be on-site to share more about the brand and showcase the latest Rabbit apparel available in-store. We’re also excited to welcome Anna from Altra, who will be providing demo shoes for runners to test during the event.
Can’t make the run? No problem! Nate and Anna will be available in-store until 11:00 a.m. to answer questions, talk gear, and help you find your next favorite running essentials.
All paces and experience levels are welcomed. We hope you’ll join us for a meaningful morning of movement and community!
Schedule:
7 AM: Check-in at Charm City Run Fells Point
7:15 AM: Warm-up led by a local PT
7:30 AM: 5K run OR 1 mile walk
