Relief Beerfest, now in its 11th year, is hosted by the volunteer firefighters at Relief Engine Company Station 312 in Moorestown, NJ on Chester Ave. Relief Engine Company is a non-profit organization who's members have been serving our community since the 1890. The well trained staff of volunteers respond to emergency incidents around the clock on their own time and are required to attend ongoing training and maintain certifications. The fire company also gives back to the community providing community service activities and scholarships.
Fundraising dollars from Relief Beerfest are used for staff retention programs, the Thomas Poole Scholarship for high school seniors, lunch with Santa following the Moorestown Holiday Parade, restoring and maintaining the company's history including a 1922 Ahren's Fox and a 1952 Mack pumpers. These historic fire apparatus are on display to the public at community events.
