About the Poker Ride
Ride through beautiful River Rise Preserve State Park collecting a poker hand or two along the way. Cash prizes for Top 3 Hands, Oldest Rider, Youngest Rider and Oldest Horse ridden!* Save $5 on your first Poker Hand by pre-registering online by Wednesday, November 11th at midnight, or by mail postmarked by 11/6/2026.
Items donated by local businesses will be awarded as drawing prizes. Tickets for the drawings will be available on ride day only for a suggested donation of $1 each.**
A food truck will be on site serving light breakfast items and lunch for purchase.
Reserve a campsite for your own little piece of River Rise, giving you a comfortable place to park your rig and hang out.† Reserve for Friday night if you want a campsite Saturday for the day only.
Camping at River Rise Preserve State Park is $5/person/night. Call the O'Leno Ranger Station at 386-454-1853 to make your camping reservation.†
All fundraising proceeds go to the support of River Rise Preserve and O’Leno State Parks. Friends of O'Leno & River Rise, Inc is a Florida Non Profit and 501(c)(3).

† Day Use Parking is limited, AND River Rise has designated campsites in the camping area with only one rig permitted in each site. Make your camping reservation early!
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Friends of O'Leno & River Rise is required by the FL Division of Recreation & Parks to KEEP a copy of the current negative Coggins certificate on file for each horse entering River Rise Preserve State Park during this event. Please consider emailing certificates ahead of time to pokerride@friendsofoleno.org, and help us speed up the check-in process.
Under Florida law, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury to, or the death of, a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities. Florida Statutes §773.01
Florida law requires participants under the age of 16 years to wear a helmet while engaging in equestrian activities on public lands.
