Eric is a fitness instructor and a social entrepreneur at Seva Fitness Academy in Kentucky. Eric is also the author of Live Better Die Slower: The Key to Making Health and Fitness Finally Stick, and the co-host of A Therapist and a Trainer Podcast. Eric grew up an overweight child of divorce and struggled significantly with bullying, anger, and depression. By age 22, he had already been divorced, filed for bankruptcy, and was a college dropout. Over the next 25 years, he has been on a journey of self-discovery, which led him to become a health and fitness professional. He has been a certified instructor in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Yoga, Tactical Fitness, strength training, nutrition, and Run coaching. His primary passion is now helping people reframe and prioritize health in their lives in a way that’s sustainable and permanent. He’s been married to his “first health coach” Denise for 22 years and has two children he adores. He spends his free time marathon training, unapologetically drinks bourbon every night, loves Skeletor memes, and recently got his first cat.
