The Smithfield Cup, held in Elizabethtown, N.C., celebrates the rich barbecue history of North Carolina and South Carolina, featuring ribs, pork BBQ and sausage prepared from renowned pitmasters from each state in a friendly People’s Choice competition for Southern BBQ supremacy. A festival ticket will include ample meat and side samplings from each team, live music, a kids zone, vintage car display, barbecue vendors, along with a selection of beer, wine & spirits from Cape Fear Distillery.
