It is believed the first sourdough bread was made in Egypt around 1500 BC. Come learn the basics behind this ancient style of baking, the health benefits it provides, and leave ready to practice this skill in your own kitchen. Follow along with Briana Cashman of Owl Hill Homestead as she breaks down the steps of a simple artisan loaf, and shows you an easy festive twist to impress your holiday tablemates. You'll learn to bake intuitively, troubleshoot common issues, and get ideas for all that discard! Leave class with your own very own sourdough baby!
