How many people can be on a team?

Each team can have up to 6 people.

Do I HAVE to have 6 people on my team?

No, you don’t have to have 6 people on your team however, the price will not change.

Does everyone on my team have to be a Southcoast Health employee?

Definitely not! Feel free to make up your team of family friends or coworkers.

Where is this taking place?

We’re hosting the Southcoast Health Bowl at  Wonder Bowl in New Bedford.

What time does it start?

We have two sessions, check-in for our morning session opens at 10am with bowling beginning at 11am. Check-in for our afternoon session opens at 1pm with bowling beginning at 2pm. Choose whichever works best for your schedule.

Who are we competing against?

It’s a friendly competition while we raise funds for the Rhonda Couto Patient Comfort Fund. At the end of the day, all team scores from both sessions will be reviewed, and whoever has the best score will be named the 2026 Southcoast Health Bowl Champ.

What is the Rhonda Couto Patient Comfort Fund?

The Rhonda Couto Patient Comfort Fund provides comfort items to oncology patients as they undergo treatment. From port shirts and radiation robes to lymphedema sleeves and mastectomy prosthetics, the Couto Fund strives to provide a more comfortable and caring oncology treatment journey.

Will food be served?

Each team is provided with one pizza and complimentary water. Additional food and other beverages can be purchased.

Do I have to leave when my bowling session is over?

You’re more than welcome to stay and hangout, but additional rounds of bowling cannot be purchased.

What do I win?

The winning team will get bragging rights and receive the Southcoast Health Bowl Trophy!

When will the winner be announced?

Session winners will be announced at the end of each session. The overall winner will be announced the Monday after the event.

Can I bring my own bowling shoes and bowling ball?

Of course!

What if there is inclement weather on Feb 7?

We will be in touch if there is any inclement weather with an alternate date.

What is the processing fee?

This is a standard fee for paying with a credit card.
