Event Description
The Standing Bear Post Prom is a safe, supervised, alcohol- and drug-free event organized by a parent-led committee for students attending prom. The event is designed to provide a fun and engaging environment immediately following prom, encouraging students to celebrate responsibly while reducing the risk of unsafe after-prom activities.
The event will take place on April 10th from 11:00pm to 3:00am , following the conclusion of prom. It will be held at Standing Bear High School and is open to all Standing Bear students who attend prom.
Planned activities include games, music, entertainment, food, and prize giveaways. Students will have access to a variety of supervised activities throughout the night, with incentives and prizes distributed to encourage attendance and participation.
The event will be staffed by parent volunteers and, if required, hired security personnel to ensure a safe and well-monitored environment. All attendees will be required to follow established event guidelines, and re-entry policies may be enforced to maintain security.
The goal of Post Prom is to create a memorable, inclusive, and secure experience where students can celebrate together in a positive setting.
