A Coming of Age Story........

Swamplight Theatre and the Kay Butler Performing Arts Project is thrilled to open the 2026-27 season with the classic To Kill a Mockingbird.  The play is based on Harper Lee’s book of the same name and follows Scout Finch in 1930's Maycomb, Alabama. As her father Atticus defends Tom Robinson, a Black man falsely accused of raping Mayella Ewell, Scout, her brother Jem, and friend Dill confront racism, injustice, and the mystery of their reclusive neighbor Boo Radley.
