Things are getting spicy with our Taste the Tomato Salsa Competition! It's tomato season and we are celebrating by hosting our 1st Annual Salsa Tasting Competition.

Join us for our Salsa Competition as a taster or competitor. 

Where: Canteen Brewhouse (2381 Aztec Rd NE Albuquerque, NM 87107)

When: Sunday, August 24th from 12-3pm

What: A spicy salsa showdown where you are the judge of the best tasting salsa!

Tasting Tickets- $20

Tickets Include- salsa samples, chips, a pint of beer or root beer, and a vote for the best salsa!

Competitor Tickets- $10

Competitors will also receive salsa samples, chips, a pint of beer or root beer, a vote for the best salsa, plus a chance at a prize and the glory of being crowned salsa champion!

By signing up competitors will need to bring one gallon of homemade tomato-based salsa to the Canteen Brewhouse (2381 Aztec Rd NE Albuquerque, NM 87107) on Saturday, August 23rd by 11am. 

The Salsa Tasting Competition will take place on Sunday, August 24th from 1-3pm.

Ticket holders are free to come anytime between 1 and 3pm to receive their sample tray. We will award the winner of the competition at 3pm.

Prior to tasting we will have a Tomato Beauty Pageant. This is free to enter, so bring your garden tomatoes for a chance to win a ribbon! Prizes will be award for the biggest, smallest, ugliest, and prettiest tomatoes.

This is a family and dog friendly event. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
