The 29th Annual Taste of Wilson will be a drive-through event for the second year in a row! Last year's drive-through event was such a success - and COVID may still be a deciding factor for some of our participants- so we decided to go ahead and plan for a drive-through event again for 2022.

The 29th Annual Taste of Wilson will be limited to 50 VIP ticket holders and 150 general admission ticket holders. Each ticket holder will receive a taste from every participating restaurant/vendor. As you drive through the event, volunteers will bring a taste from each restaurant/vendor to your vehicle for each ticket holder so you won't even have to get out of your vehicle!

Vehicles with VIP Ticket holders will have a separate staging line prior to the gates opening. Once the gates open, the first vehicle will be from the VIP ticket holder line. Then, the general admission ticket holder line will zipper merge with the VIP ticket holder line to form a single line through the event.

VIP ticket holders will also receive the perfect item for Taste of Wilson events! Each VIP ticket holder will receive a purple utility tote featuring The Arc of Wilson County's logo! This utility tote is made of 600D polyester, has a wire frame top, and has a front slip pocket (perfect for holding your taste ticket at future events!). The tote has two 34" length handles and measures 12" H x 21-1/2" W x 10" D. That's more than enough room for carrying your tastes from our participating restaurants at future events.

We are also including a Wilson Gobble Wobble koozie with each VIP ticket purchase as well!

We are so very thankful for the participating restaurants of this year's Taste of Wilson. The past few years have been tough for many businesses but restaurants have been hit especially hard with rising food costs and staffing shortages. Participating as a Taste of Wilson restaurant is a big task for our restaurants and we truly do appreciate their support of The Arc of Wilson County and Camp Sunshine. Without their support, we wouldn't be able to host our summer camp for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
