Event Description
Please join us for the only Alaska showing of The Cutoff, featuring two local ultra runners; Jen Novobilski (Anchorage) and Tony Gillham (Sterling).
The Cutoff is a feature-length documentary set inside Cocodona 250, a 250 mile ultramarathon across Arizona, where time, not distance, is the race’s most unforgiving opponent. Following a group of underdog runners, the film focuses on those fighting exhaustion, injury, and doubt as they race each checkpoint before the clock runs out. As the finish line looms for some and disappears for others, The Cutoff reveals what it means to keep moving when the odds, and time itself, are stacked against you.
