About the training program...

Join the Rain Bear Running Club as we train for the EPIC Olympic Adventure Trail (OAT) Run! 

Thanks to our local sponsors, Peninsula Adventure Sports, and North Olympic Healthcare Network, the first 20 participants to register for the 12k before February 1st get $20 off! 

What you get: training schedules for 12k or half marathon distance, twice-weekly group runs on Saturdays and Mondays, technique coaching, tips and tricks, motivation, support, accountability, and fun!

Details: Half participants must be able to run/walk 3 miles by January 25th.  12k participants must be able to run/walk a 5k comfortably before the start date of Feb 22nd. 

Where: Half participants meet at 8am and 12k participants at 9 a.m. each Saturday along the ODT or Olympic Adventure Trail. Midweek runs are at 5:30 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays in Port Angeles.

When: Saturday group runs start on January 25th for half group and February 22nd for 12k group at 9am. These programs will run until Saturday, April 5th. 

Bonus: If you'd like to run the OAT Run on April 12th, Rain Bear Running Club has 20 spots for training participants for 12k distance. This race is sold out, but we still have 20 spots! Anyone joining the Rain Bear training program will also receive an exclusive 20% discount code for the 12k or half race registration fees. The race registration fees are not included in the training fee.

Bonus Bonus: 

Join Coach Emily for a strength training class focused on runners. No matter your experience with strength training, this class is for you, and each movement can be modified for where you are.
 
The class will consist of a 5-10-minute warm up // 35-40 minute workout // 5-10 minute cooldown/mobility.
 
The class will be held in person on Tuesdays at 5:30pm, every other week starting on February 18th, with a take-home workout for the in-between weeks.
Location: Angeles Fitness, 228 E Lauridsen Blvd, Port Angeles (shared parking with Halberg Chiropractic)
 
$12/class (includes a take-home workout for the following week). The class needs a minimum of 5 people
