Beers with Engineers: Traffic Calming Past, Present and Future

Join Trailnet & HOK for a happy hour of St. Louis-area transportation professionals and a panel discussion about traffic calming planning, community engagement, advocacy, and implementation. A panel of local experts will tell the story of St. Louis’ first Calm Street on Louisiana Avenue, distill the lessons learned so far, and discuss what it means for the future of multi-modal transportation in the City of St. Louis and beyond. Come for the brews, stay for the company, and leave with inspiration and tools to implement traffic calming solutions.

You'll learn about the project background from Grace Kyung, Senior Strategic Initiatives Manager for Mayor Tishaura O. Jones and former Trailnet Special Projects Director. The panel will be moderated by Trailnet's Community Planning Manager Bryce Monser, featuring panelists Scott Ogilvie, Wendy Campbell, Taylor March, and Jacque Knight.

Program:

  • 5 - 6 pm Happy Hour and Networking! Stop by any time.
  • 6 - 7 pm Panel Discussion and Q&A
