LAKE WHISPERS BREWING LLC
Kewaunee
"Brewing Up A Storm on the Lakeshore" Lake Whispers Brewing LLC is a nano-brewery founded in 2025 by single owner, and craft beer enthusiast - Chris Schroeder who started his "brewing career" with a trip to England in 1998. Lake Whispers is a nano-brewery currently contract brewing until a physical brewery with a small brew system can be facilitated in the City of Kewaunee. Instead of having its own taps, the brewery aims for the local businesses to "be the taproom" and help boost the local economy with what they have to offer paired with Lake Whispers' locally themed beer, and the state of Wisconsin, Lake Michigan, farming and other local industries. Their "flagship" beers include one dedicated to the fabled battleship USS Wisconsin - BB-64, and a lighter wheat BEER - it's a "Wisconsin Thing". You can find their beer "ONLY IN NE Wisconsin" - Brown, Door, Kewaunee, and Manitowoc Counties.
ONE BARREL BREWING COMPANY
Egg Harbor
This was the mantra when we started One Barrel Brewing Company, and it still holds true all these years later. While our footprint and batch size may have increased to meet the demand of our loyal Wisconsin followers, we continue to create approachable beer and cider that is made with top quality grain, hops, water, yeast, and fruit. And of course love!
STARBOARD BREWING COMPANY
Sturgeon Bay
Starboard Brewing Company was founded in 2014 by locals Amanda and Patrick Surfus. Starboard features 12 taps and frequently rotates their selection of brews. Brewing on a 1 barrel, fire-brewed system, Starboard has been able to produce over 800 different beers since its launch. Visit them in their Tap Room; located on Historic 3rd Avenue in downtown Sturgeon Bay.
SWAY BREWING + BLENDING
Baileys Harbor
At Sway, we create beers that are tied to a specific time, place, and people. We brew (very) small-batch, classically inspired beers using 100% Midwestern ingredients, from small farms close to home, including hops sourced exclusively from Wisconsin and hand-foraged native plants (things like goldenrod, yarrow, and spruce). The raw ingredients used in our brewery are representative of specific harvest seasons, the land they were grown on, and the people who grew them—people we've shaken hands with. Our taproom, bakery, and kitchen in Baileys Harbor highlights our focus on regeneratively grown regional grains and serves as an extension of our values... a place of respect and respite for all.
