Under the Lights:
A Community Film Screening & Conversation
Join the Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County for a special afternoon at the movies featuring the award-winning film Under the Lights, proudly sponsored by Neurelis.
Written and directed by award-winning filmmaker and epilepsy advocate Miles Levin, Under the Lights tells the inspiring story of Sam, a teenager living with epilepsy who longs to experience a "normal" prom night. Through an authentic and heartfelt story, the film explores courage, resilience, friendship, and the challenges of living with epilepsy while encouraging understanding and acceptance.
Following the screening, enjoy a live Q&A and community conversation with Miles Levin, who will share his personal journey and the inspiration behind the film.
Whether you're living with epilepsy, supporting a loved one, or simply interested in an inspiring story, this event offers a meaningful opportunity to learn, connect, and help reduce the stigma surrounding epilepsy.
