Event Description
Could You Sink a $1 Million Putt?
Join the world's best putting competition! The World's Longest Putt will be in Chicago for two days in September 2025, hosting our Chicago Regional Event!
Compete against other Chicago golfers over a 9-hole setup. You get three attempts at each hole, with your best putt on each counting for your score. Putts range from 40 to 100 feet, getting progressively more difficult. Lowest total distance over 9 holes wins!
There will be prizes for top finishers and golfers who drain the putts. The Grand Prize is that the Chicago WLP Regional Winner will receive a trip for two to Kohler, Wisconsin, to compete in the World's Longest Putt Championship at The Baths of Blackwolf Run in May 2026. At the nationally televised finals, golfers will compete for a $10,000 purse and have a shot at a $1 million putt!
In addition to the Grand Prize, we will have awards for the best junior and best female golfer. We will also have an award for the best private club putter.
A portion of each entry will go to support the CDGA Foundation and their Adaptive Golf efforts, helping those with disabilities enjoy the game of golf. For more info, go to https://www.cdga.org/golf-givingback/
