Event Description
West Central Indiana Outdoor Expo
April 18 & 19, 2026 Vigo County Fairgrounds
The Vigo County Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with the Terre Haute Convention and Visitors Bureau, is proud to announce the inaugural West Central Indiana Outdoor Expo, set to take place April 18 and 19, 2026 at the Vigo County Fairgrounds. The event will run from 10 AM - 8 PM on April 18, and from 10 AM to 5 PM on April 19.
The goal of the Expo is to showcase the outdoor recreation opportunities within the West Central Indiana region. The two-day event will highlight activities such as hunting, fishing, camping, rowing, kayaking, biking, birding, nature photography, gardening, trail systems, and more! The Expo will feature guest speakers, live demos, and a variety of vendors and organizations including, but not limited to: City, County, and State Parks, local nonprofit organizations, ATV, RV, and boat dealers, fishing tackle suppliers, outdoor outfitters, and food trucks. Attendees can also expect insider advice from professionals and special package deals and giveaways. “There’s something for everybody,” said Vigo County Parks Superintendent, Adam Grossman.
NOTE: Vendor spaces are available for nonprofits, for-profits, and municpalities. Each 10' x 10' booth space is located inside the Expo Hall at the Vigo County Fairgrounds. Vendors are required to bring their own table and chairs, however electricity will be available to vendors. Each booth space will have a curtain backdrop provided by Complete Outdoor, so plan your set up accordingly.
Food Vendors will be set up outside the Expo Hall. There are electrical hookups available for vendors without generators.
There will also be rental space available for larger motor sports, RV's, and boats inside the Expo Hall. These spaces are available for $1,500 and are treated as a sponsorship. We will work with vendors individually on how much space is needed and how many items they would like to bring, and will recognize vendors as an event sponsor.
