This is our 2nd class, the first class was very successful. You will experience making red wine with real grapes. You will experience with a manually cranked crusher-destemmer the same kind of process that our monster, 4-ton-per-hour crusher does, only a bit slower. You will learn about yeast rehydration and “pitching” the yeast, and you will see what fining does for wine. Along the way, you will learn about sulfites in wine, organic issues, and the challenges of making wine from grapes.
