Event Description

A Celebration of the Women Who Led the Way.  History comes to life with four time-traveling guests:

  • Elizabeth Cady Stanton - organizer of the first women's rights convention in 1848 in Seneca Falls, New York.
  • Sojourner Truth - Formerly enslaved woman and advocate for abolition of slavery and women's rights, giving her famous "Aint I a Women Speech" from 1851
  • Susan B. Anthony, tenacious reformer, who was arrested in 1872 for voting.
  • AND PREMIER PERFORMANCE OF Harriet Tubman - renowned conductor on the Underground Railroad, and Union Army spy.

Each performer is a subject matter expert, dresses in period costume, and  will answer questions from the audience at the end of the performance.
