Women’s Work: The History and Legacy of Women in Dairy

Thursday Sep 1, 2022 12:00am - Monday Sep 26, 2022 7:30pm EDT

Information

Join us Monday, September 26, 2022 at 8pm EST. A ticketed virtual event where Mary Casella, recipient of the 2021 Daphne Zepos Research Award, presents her research of the history and role that women play in the dairy and cheese world.  Learn about how Mary used her funds to interview and research women from all over North America that play an integral role in the dairy industry while no one watches.  During this live virtual event, you will be able to ask questions directly to Mary and engage in a stimulated conversation about how their stories can inspire your local and global dairy communities.

This event will be hosted on Zoom.  Tickets will be limited to 90 spots and all revenue will be donated to the Daphne Zepos Teaching Endowment to further educational opportunities through their two scholarships as well as continuing education for past recipients.  Tickets will be available up until 730pm EST on 9/26/22.  You will receive a Zoom link 30 minutes prior to the event.  A recording of this event will be available on our Youtube channel after the event.  Follow our socials (@dzte2022) for updates and availability.

Your purchase will qualify for a tax-exempt receipt which you will receive after the event has concluded from United Charitable, the umbrella 501(c)3 nonprofit over The Cheeseletes who is helping to organize this fundraiser by providing a platform for tax-free donations.  Otherwise, this event is completely independent of those two organizations, but we deeply appreciate their cooperation and commitment to cheese education.
