This holiday season, Chicago Defender Charities, Bright Star Community Outreach, and Tau Psi Zeta Chapter are coming together for Hope for the Holidays, a community toy and coat giveaway created to surround Chicago families with joy, dignity, and support.

Families can receive free toys, winter coats, books, school supplies, family essentials, and community resources, while enjoying holiday activities, entertainment, and special moments together.

Come for what your family needs. Leave knowing your community stands with you.

We are currently accepting donations for children and teens ages 0–17, including new toys, winter coats, books, school supplies, gift cards, and family essentials.

To donate items, coordinate a drop-off, or discuss a larger contribution, please contact Taja at tadegbesan@defendercharities.org.

All donated items will support families participating in our Bud Billiken® Holiday Giveback holiday programs.

First come, first served. All children must be present. Supplies are limited.
