About the de Ramel Cup and the Squash Doubles Association (SDA)
2026 de Ramel Cup – Newport County Y June 18 – 20, 2026
· Professional Men’s Doubles Squash Tournament
· $30,000 prize money
· One of ten “Platinum” SDA events, drawing the world’s top players.
· Event tickets for the inaugural event are nearly sold out.
· 100% of proceeds benefit Newport County Y’s Rhody Squash program.
The Squash Doubles Association (SDA) Pro Tour is the international organizing body for professional squash doubles, overseeing a calendar of events, player rankings, and competition standards. $800,000+ total prize money across the 2025–26 season, culminating with the first annual season ending summer tournament – The de Ramel Cup.
In addition to the main draw, there will be:
· Pro-Am Draws
· Sponsor and member hospitality functions.
· Community engagement and grassroots development initiatives
THE CAUSE:
100% of all event revenues (sponsorship, tickets, Pro-Am/Scramble, etc.) directly funds the Newport County YMCA Rhody Squash program.
