Our Narrated Black-Box Performance is a type of performance used when there are many scenes which require narration to help the audience understand the transitions in-between. The actors will fully perform the scenes and the narrator will guide you through the overall story.

SUMMARY
Fifth Planet, which Auburn wrote during his Julliard residency, is a one-act play that charts the bumpy relationship of two astronomers, one amateur and one professional, over the course of a year. The play has several scenes, some of them very short. Each scene takes place on a different night on the same hilltop.
FORMAT
Fifth Planet is a one-act play, and its run time is approximately 60 minutes with no intermission. It is presented as a narrated black-box performance, and will include a 30 minute talk-back discussion afterwards with the actors.
RATING
The play contains use of colorful dialogue and mature themes. Parental guidance is suggested.
