Iron Heart Winery
Forged in the mountains of Southwestern Virginia, Iron Heart Winery is founded by a Father-Son team. Experience something completely different. Iron Heart Winery - built from the ground up, a farm with history in America’s Industrial Revolution circa 1882 is being transformed into a modern day escape. A passion for the family farm is reflected in every aspect of the operation.
Seven Sisters Brewery
Seven Sisters is much more than your average craft brewery. Intended to showcase the beauty and wonders of Southwest Virginia while offering patrons a variety of high quality craft beer, it is very much a community brewery that offers an inviting, relaxed, family-oriented atmosphere.
Tumbling Creek Cider Co
Reaching to our mountain orchard roots, we combine modern ingenuity with historic grafting and pressing methods. Along the way we tossed in some trial-and-error, and a dash of luck. The result is a truly Appalachian heritage inspired, hard cider, pressed in house.
Open Door Cafe
Open Door Café is Southwest Virginia’s First Donation-Based Community Café. Our café provides chef prepared, wholesome lunches five days a week regardless of patrons' ability to pay. With your support there will be a day when we celebrate the end of hunger in our community. A portion of all food and beverage sales benefit our zero hunger mission.
Small Batch Hot Sauces and Salsa
Wythe Harvestfest is free and open to the public. In lieu of admission fees, attendees are asked to make a donation commensurate with their ability to give in one of two ways:
Food and drink tokens are available for advanced purchase starting September 15th. Onsite sales are available during the event. All food and drink proceeds benefit the Open Door Café.
Here in the mountains our heritage is wrapped in the songs and music birthed on front porches and backyards, traditionally shared from person to person and played by ear. Our ancestors played a variety of string and percussion instruments along with common household items that were easy to move to their neighbors front porch. The new outdoor stage at Open Door Café honors that history and heritage in both its design and intended use. Resembling a front porch, the stage will host live, outdoor musical performances in support of our zero hunger and housing first mission.
The stage was made possible thanks to a generous, unrestricted charitable gift and is dedicated in memory of Dennis Reynolds, George Fisher & Thomas Hunter who taught us to love each other through music & fellowship.
