Malibu Moves began as a deeply personal vision for me—rooted in my love for this community and my belief that movement has the power to heal, connect, and rebuild. What started as an idea has grown into something far bigger than a race. It’s become a promise to Malibu.
By signing up with a charity entry, I’m proud to be setting the example and committing to raising funds for the Malibu Moves Community Impact Fund. Our goal this year is ambitious—$50,000 for local impact—and it’s a goal that means everything to me.
Over the past two years, our community has already helped us donate more than $110,000 back into Malibu. This fund allows us to continue reinvesting directly into the places and people that make this town strong, with a focus on Youth & Education, Fire-Readiness, and Community Resilience.
The fund is managed by the Move Together Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and supports trusted local partners like the Malibu Education Foundation and The Emily Shane Foundation. These organizations are on the ground doing the work—supporting our schools, our kids, and our neighbors—especially when it matters most.
When you donate to this fundraiser, you’re not just supporting an event. You’re helping protect what makes Malibu special. You’re standing with our schools, our families, and our future. And you’re reminding me why Malibu Moves exists in the first place—because this community shows up for each other.
