The Finish Line Rewards the Effort
Founded by Ramie Clagg, Kinetic Threads was born from decades of experience at the finish line. Through our work with Kinetic Timing, we’ve seen firsthand the energy and effort that athletes and organizers pour into their events. We also heard the same frustration time and again: regional teams and races were tired of high prices, impersonal service, and long wait times for custom gear.
We decided to change that. Based in Newton, we provide Effingham, Dieterich, and our surrounding Illinois communities with a professional-grade apparel solution that moves as fast as our timing chips.
Our Standards
We’ve traded the slow, traditional "t-shirt shop" model for a high-efficiency production pipeline. We treat every order—from 12 shirts to 200—with the same technical rigor we bring to the timing tent.

Precision Technology: We utilize industrial thermal transfer systems (DTF) to deliver vibrant, high-definition prints that are built to survive the race, the job site, and the wash.

The 10-Day Priority Window: We specialize in the deadlines that matter. Our production is optimized to get your gear in-hand within 10 days of art approval.

Professional Art Support: Great prints start with great files. We recommend high-resolution or vector artwork to ensure the best results, but if your art isn't quite "press-ready," we offer professional design services to get your brand across the finish line.
Local Service, Standalone Quality
While we offer seamless apparel bundling for our Kinetic Timing clients, Kinetic Threads is a standalone powerhouse. We are here to outfit local businesses, school teams, and community organizations who want premium gear without the big-city price tag or the "big-box" headache.
Newton & Dieterich Pickup: We believe in the handshake. To save on shipping costs, all local orders are available for pickup in Newton or Dieterich by appointment only.
