The 5k run is an out-and-back run.

It is a Chip Start & Chip Finish always!

We welcome athletes of all levels and 2- or 3-person relay teams!

Important Note: There is a cutoff on the Long Course - all bikers need to be off the road by 9 am. If you cannot complete the first run and bike by 9 am, you should compete in the short course

The event is chip-timed, and athletes will receive splits for each segment of the race.
We will provide this to all participants on race day, after they finish, along with ice-cold beer and other assorted drinks to quench their thirst.

Brown rice and black beans served hot and fresh on Race Day!

The Duathlon is a marked 5k run, followed by a 10-mile bike, and a second 5k Run. There is also a long Duathlon 5k Run, 19-mile bike, and a 5k Run.

This event has grown in popularity in the past five years and will close out at 500 entries this year.

This will be an event you don't want to miss
7:00 am Start Time - Roads close at 7:00 am sharp and reopen at 9:00 AM. If you are not in the park by 7:00 am you will not make the race.
This is a USAT event. There will be drafting marshals on the course.

This event has grown in popularity in the past five years and will close out at 500 entries this year.

Parking Info: Park patrons may now use their mobile phones to pay for parking via the Parkmobile app. This upgrade will replace cash transactions at the front entrance booth at Fort De Soto and alleviate traffic entering the park. Learn more

REFUND POLICY

Chilly Willy reserves the right in the event of inclement weather, emergency, or natural disaster to cancel the race or move to a later time. You can defer your registration to another race date AND WILL NOT BE CHARGED A FEE.
