Professional Background in NW

My journey in Nordic walking began approximately ten years ago in Latvia, following an active period in sports and a desire to find a sustainable, effective form of physical activity.

I was seeking a discipline that would engage multiple muscle groups, support both physical and emotional well-being, and remain accessible without significant financial investment. At the same time, it was important for me to be involved in a structured activity where progress could be measured, analyzed, and continuously improved.

Nordic walking proved to be the ideal solution.

Technique

Proper movement, posture, and efficient Nordic walking form.

Coaching

Structured training for individuals and groups.

Growth

Health, community, and long-term sport development.

I began by attending guided training sessions under the supervision of a professional coach, where I developed proper technique and gained a deeper understanding of the sport. Alongside regular training, I actively participated in competitions, which allowed me to track my development and refine my skills.

Over time, I achieved noticeable improvements in posture, overall physical fitness, and endurance, while also experiencing the positive impact on mental balance and well-being.

As my experience grew, so did my motivation to share this knowledge and inspire others.

This led me to pursue professional education and become a certified Nordic walking trainer. Today, I work with individuals and groups, delivering structured training sessions focused on correct technique, functional movement, and long-term health benefits.

My approach emphasizes accessibility and sustainability, ensuring that Nordic walking can be adapted to different fitness levels, ages, and goals.

In parallel with coaching, I am committed to promoting Nordic walking as a valuable and versatile activity that contributes to overall health, community engagement, and active lifestyle development. Through my work, I aim to educate, motivate, and support people in building lasting healthy habits.

My goal is to continue developing high-quality training programs, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the growth and recognition of Nordic walking at both local and international levels.
