The Haunted Forest Marathon is a FLAT and FAST event with a total of 57 feet of elevation and 5 turns.

The field is limited to 500 runners.

The first 1.2 miles are on the road with the Half Marathoners until you turn onto the Towpath Trail. The surface is a mix of blacktop and hard packed crushed limestone. You will travel South to Mile 7.75, hit a 180 degree turn, return North to Mile 20.8, a final 180 degree turn, then head to the finish line

Water and Lemon Lime Gatorade will be at each aid station. Aid station locations are at miles 2.4 / 4.9 / 6.5 / 8.9 / 10.5 / 13 / 15.2 / 16.1 / 18.3 / 19.3 / 22.2 / 23.4 / 25.3

All who hit the Boston Marathon Qualifying Standards will receive a SECOND finisher medal.
