Advocates’ 19th Annual Charity Golf Tournament brings together golf enthusiasts, community members, and businesses for a day of friendship, networking, and philanthropy.

The tournament will be held on Wednesday, September 18th at the Timber Banks Golf Club, located in Baldwinsville, New York. Funds raised from this event will support children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The day consists of 18 holes of golf and cart, lunch on the turn, beverages on the course, contests throughout the event, a networking reception, a gourmet dinner, a program, awards, and more!

As Central New York’s largest provider of individualized services for people with disabilities, Advocates provides services and supports to more than 1,200 individuals. Advocates offers a variety of resources, advancing best practices for supporting people with disabilities and their families. Advocates differs from other providers due to the ratio of employees to the number of individuals they serve allowing them to support people in their own communities with 1:1 staffing. Advocates also offers recreational programming, respite, community habilitation, family training, housing opportunities, and advocacy for people with disabilities. We also employ over 1,300 Central New Yorkers.

Raising awareness and much-needed funding are so important to provide children and adults with disabilities equal access to a fulfilling life. Our efforts to enhance fundamental programming and service delivery rely on the generosity of our donors. Proceeds from our fundraising efforts benefit over 1,100 children and adults with disabilities and their families.
