Event Description

Get ready for the most udderly adorable yoga class ever!

Join us for a one-of-a-kind fundraiser benefiting Blessings in a Backpack Floyd County. Experience the perfect blend of relaxation, laughter, and fuzzy cuddles as playful baby goats join you on the mat.

BAAA-Maste: Baby Goat Yoga is not just about finding your zen. It’s about giving back!

What to Expect:

30 spots per session

45 minutes of guided yoga (all levels welcome!)
15 minutes of goat mingling and photo ops. For just $5 dollars extra, you can feed a goat too.
Plenty of smiles, giggles, and goat selfies.

What to Bring:

Yoga Mat, Towel & Water. Make sure your yoga mat is not a cherished one and is washable. The baby goats may try to nibble on your mat, so you may want to cover it with a beach towel.

Instructors:

Lori Beth Mayberry is a registered yoga instructor at Element Yoga and Danielle Crosby has 10 years of experience instructing. We are so grateful to our instructors for volunteering their time to this one of a kind event.

The Baby Goats

Karst Kreek Farms, a small dairy goat farm located in Georgetown, Indiana, is operated by Debbie Haeberlin. We'd like to thank Debbie for bringing "the kids" for you to enjoy, cuddle and feed.

Is there an age minimum to attend?

Anyone 13 and under needs to have an adult present. To safely interact with the baby goats, we recommend participants weigh at least 75lbs. otherwise the baby goats will be too heavy for their backs.

Can I purchase tickets the day of the event?

No. Due to limited person per session, tickets will only be available online til March 27 at 11:59pm. After which, there will be no switching sessions or refunds. There are no refunds for no shows.

About Blessings in a Backpack Floyd County

Blessings in a Backpack Floyd County is an initiative of New Albany Floyd County Education Foundation dedicated to alleviating childhood hunger in Floyd County, Indiana.

Just under 1 in 6 Floyd County children face food insecurity. When school dismisses on Friday, 38% of NAFCS pre-k through 8th grade students would leave their classroom unsure of whether they will have enough to eat until school starts again next Monday, if not for the work of Blessings in a Backpack Floyd County.

Through donations from local individuals and companies, Blessings in a Backpack Floyd County is able to ensure that students in need don’t go hungry over the weekend and can return to school ready to learn. Blessings in a Backpack Floyd County serves children at all 9 NAFCS elementary schools and the 3 middle schools in our district.
