Printing Information
My photographs are printed by Giclee Today, a specialized printing company based in Pennsylvania. I have used them for small and large prints for my home. The prints have accurate colors, super sharp, and look beautiful.
All my photos are printed on Archival Matte paper.
Paper Description: Smooth, neutral-white, matte paper for high-quality fine art, photo reproduction, and open-edition decor. It supports accurate color reproduction and high-contrast, high-resolution output, and is acid-free for a longer print life with pigment inks.
Processing Time: All print orders will be fufilled in 1-2 business days. Production time for the printer is about 1-7 business days
Here is some more information about their process: Giclee (pronounced Gee’clay) is a French term meaning to spray or squirt, which is how an inkjet printer works. However, it is not the same as a standard desktop inkjet printer, and is much larger and more detailed. Giclee prints can be a little over a meter wide and are printed on high quality archival papers. Giclee is the best way to produce archival reproductions of your fineart and photography.
Do Giclee printers use ordinary printers inks?
No. We use only brand name, special light-fast inks. Our inks are archival certified and if treated properly, will last a lifetime.
