It is hard to believe that five years have passed since Denise left us. January 24, 2026 marks exactly five years since we lost Denise, and as we reflect on her life, we choose to honor her memory and legacy in the way she taught us—by coming together in joy and community. We invite you to join us for a Night at the Races, a special event dedicated to celebrating Denise and all that she stood for. All proceeds from the event will support her Legacy Fund.

Denise’s mission in life was to help others. She was deeply committed to her business, but above all, to her children and grandchildren. Denise served the St. Barnabas community for many years as the Athletic Director and as a coach for her daughters’ basketball team. She made it all look effortless—balancing her role as Athletic Director, attending every sporting event, and running a successful business.

Through her Legacy Fund, we hope to continue her passion for uplifting young people and helping them achieve their dreams. This work, however, is only possible with your support.

If love alone could have kept her here, she would still be with us today. But God had other plans for her, her family, and the community she so deeply impacted. Denise was a leader, mentor, friend, mother, sister, wife, aunt, and business owner who lived her life with faith and purpose. She touched everyone she met—whether by encouraging them to step outside their comfort zones or simply by being present when they needed someone most.

Denise showed her husband, children, and grandchildren what it truly meant to give rather than receive. She gave selflessly until her final day.
