Event Description
What We Are
Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disney World will be largest gathering of epilepsy physicians, patients, families, and advocates on the East Coast—a magical two-day event that combines world-class medical education with the wonder of Disney to create an unprecedented experience in epilepsy awareness and care.
Why We Exist
To bridge the gap between medical excellence and community support, creating a space where the latest epilepsy research meets real-world patient experiences, all within the inspiring backdrop of Disney magic that reminds us that anything is possible.
Our Partnership
Epilepsy Awareness Day at Walt Disney World is born from a proven 12-year legacy of success. We have partnered with Sofie's Journey, the organization behind the renowned Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland (EADDL) in California, to bring this transformative experience to the East Coast.
In partnership with the Epilepsy Association of Florida & Epilepsy Alliance America, we are expanding this proven model to serve the epilepsy communities in Florida. This East-meets-West partnership creates a national network of epilepsy awareness and support, ensuring families from coast to coast have access to world-class education, community, and the Disney magic that reminds us that anything is possible.
