The Oktoberfest Pop-Up Museum will be open on Sunday, October 12, from 12–5pm at the Kentlands Carriage House (located next to the Arts Barn and across from the Mansion). Visitors are invited to learn about New Urbanism and the history and unique character of the Kentlands and Lakelands communities.

As part of the Museum, volunteer docents will lead 1.2 mile long New Urbanism walking tours through Lakelands and Kentlands at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 PM, departing from the pocket park behind the carriage house. The walking tours provide an engaging look at the design principles that shaped our award-winning communities. Advance tickets for the New Urbanism walking tours are available. All adult participants must register, but children accompanying their parents do not need to register. The New Urbanism walking tours are free, but tax-deductible donations to the Kentlands Community Foundation are gladly accepted at https://www.kentlands.org/.
