Southern Roots Festival is a two-day celebration of Southern culture at the historic North Wilkesboro Speedway. Join us September 25 & 26 for a fun outdoor event in the speedway infield featuring artisans, unique vendors, handmade crafts, delicious food trucks, a tribute band, horse-drawn carriage rides, and family-friendly activities.
The festival kicks off Friday evening with live music under the lights, and continues Saturday with a full day of shopping, entertainment, and festival fun.
Come shop, eat, and enjoy the spirit of the South!

Admission is free. Parking is $10 per vehicle, benefiting Speedway Children's Charities.
This rain-or-shine event is the perfect place to find unique gifts and enjoy a great day at the Speedway.

Setup & Event Rules

Mandatory Setup: Friday, September 25 from 6am-3pm.
Rain or shine event: vendors must provide tents covering their entire booth(s).
The physical address is 381 Speedway Lane, N. Wilkesboro, NC. Friday vendors will be required to enter at the front gate. It is there you will receive your vendor packets. We will be there to greet you and take you to your space.
Vendors must supply their own tents, tables, chairs.
Saturday morning, the gates will be open at 6am.
No late setup, early breakdown, or vehicle access Saturday morning. Breakdown supervised by staff ticket system; all trash must be disposed of in dumpsters.
Camping overnight on Friday night is allowed on premise - reach out to us at southernrootscraftfair@gmail.com for details. Limited capacity.

Requirements & Terms

All vendor fees are non-refundable.
All accepted vendors must submit required documents and agree to the event terms and conditions.
Vendors are responsible for their own security, damages, liability, etc. The Fair and Speedway are not liable for theft, loss, or damage.
