Mushroom Foraging Class. Many delicious, edible, wild mushrooms are surprisingly easy to identify: Black Trumpets, Morels, Chanterelles and others. Attendees can learn about these mushrooms at the Viking Experience--even though none of them are in season during this event. How? Professional mushroom hunter Frank Hyman will share easy ID's by using life-size mushrooms models and and playing a guessing game called “Which Mushroom Will Send You Running for the Toilet?” Frank will also sell and sign his book—“How to Forage Mushrooms Without Dying: An Absolute Beginner’s Guide” for $15 cash or check only. 1 hour long class.
