Meet the Wellspring Team
Rachel Larson (left)
Rachel Larson has spent more than 30 years helping people feel stronger and more capable in their bodies through fitness and nutrition. A registered dietitian and seasoned fitness professional, she has taught thousands of classes and holds certifications in yoga, Pilates, personal training, group fitness, corrective exercise, and behavior change. She is co-founder and co-owner of Flostate Yoga and Fitness and loves the joy of movement and connection with others.
Rachel specializes in restorative vinyasa yoga, myofascial stretching, and total-body strength. She brings a combination of knowledge, curiosity, energy, and enthusiasm to her teaching, always looking for ways to help people understand their bodies and discover what makes them feel their best. Her teaching style is approachable, encouraging, and rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to feel comfortable and confident in their own body—regardless of age, experience, or ability.
Outside of fitness, Rachel is a pastor's wife and mom to two girls. Her faith in Jesus is an important part of who she is and how she approaches life and relationships. She loves learning, reading, playing pickleball, spending time with family, and, perhaps most of all, connecting with people. She feels privileged to walk alongside others through both the joyful and difficult seasons of life and is excited to create a space at this retreat where women can feel seen, supported, encouraged, and reminded that they are not alone.
Alice Halvorson (middle)
Alice Halvorson has been a fitness professional for the past 15 years, specializing in resistance training and Vinyasa yoga. She has a gift for helping people see the strength and potential in their bodies and loves creating spaces where movement feels empowering, approachable, and joyful. As someone who has personally walked through an eating disorder and recovery, Alice understands how complicated our relationship with our bodies can be. Her own journey has shaped a deep desire to help women move toward greater freedom, confidence, and compassion for themselves.
Alice has also spent the past 25 years working in events and event marketing, where she has seen firsthand the incredible power of bringing people together. She believes that meaningful connection and community can create space for healing, hope, and growth—and giving back and creating opportunities for others to feel supported has become an important part of her life and work.
Outside of fitness and events, Alice is a wife and mom to two children, Connor and Ava. She loves spending time with friends and family, boating, traveling, and seeking out a little adventure whenever she can. Her faith is an important part of her life, and she is passionate about creating spaces where women can come as they are, feel genuinely cared for, and be reminded that they don't have to walk through life's difficult seasons alone.
Through Wellspring, Alice hopes to bring her love of movement, connection, and giving together to create a retreat where women can breathe, be supported, and find renewed hope for whatever comes next.
Stephanie Elliston (right)
Stephanie Elliston is a Certified Professional Coach, speaker, and founder of The Steady Elevation, where she partners with individuals and organizations to elevate their potential through greater self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and intentional growth. Her leadership development work includes individual coaching, workshops, and assessments such as DISC, Insights Discovery, and the Energy Leadership Index (ELI), helping people better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and move forward with greater confidence and purpose.
But some of Stephanie’s most meaningful work was born not from a certification or assessment—but from her own story. Stephanie and her husband spent seven years trying to grow their family, a journey that included infertility, IVF, five miscarriages, and eventually surrogacy. Through years of hope, grief, unanswered questions, waiting, and learning to trust God when the path looked nothing like she imagined, Stephanie developed a deep passion for walking alongside other women experiencing infertility and pregnancy loss.
Their journey ultimately led them to gestational surrogacy and the birth of their second daughter.
Stephanie has since combined her professional coaching experience with her personal journey to create spaces where women can be honest about both their faith and their feelings. She has led faith-based groups for women navigating infertility, miscarriage, and surrogacy and believes women need places where they don’t have to minimize their grief, manufacture positivity, or have all the answers in order to hold onto hope.
Through Wellspring Retreats, her hope is that every woman leaves feeling seen, supported, strengthened, and a little more anchored in hope for whatever comes next.
