Your Night Out, Their New Beginning

When you support the Dignity Gala, you’re doing so much more than attending a great party. You’re helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, mental health diagnoses, and individuals and families experiencing homelessness find stability, dignity, and a place to call home.

Gala dollars help Alternatives:

• Invest in safe, stable housing

• Support clients with daily living, life skills, and community inclusion

• Create opportunities for recreation, connection, and joy

• Supplement essential, everyday needs that aren’t covered by other funding

Your generosity turns one special evening into year-round impact for the people we serve.

What Your Gift Makes Possible

• $15,000 – Help make a group home more accessible with the addition of ramps, motion sensors or a roll-in shower. There are three new homes in the pipeline right now!
• $7,500 – Fund transportation for three homeless mothers traveling to work.
• $5,000 – Provide more than 40 hours of training for Direct Support Professionals working at a group home. Trainings include Preventing Abuse & Neglect & CPR/First Aid. 
• $3,000 - Support a year of community integration and daily living skills activities for 25 clients.
• $1,500 – Contribute to the creation of a sensory room to provide clients with an environment that minimizes stress and anxiety.
• $1,000 – Empower clients through the addition of technology in the home, such as  smart lighting, a tablet to facilitate communication, and calming tools to help clients achieve their goals. 
• $500 - Provide personal items, like toiletries and hygiene products, for a client experiencing mental health challenges.
• $250 – Clients who attend Alternatives Abilities in Motion (AIM) Day Programs love craft projects! Your reservation at the gala will fund art supplies for one client for all of 2026.
