Operation Active Kids (O.A.K.)
Operation Active Kids (O.A.K.) is the heart of our mission to help children grow stronger—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Through O.A.K., First Flight Alliance invests directly in youth programs that encourage healthy choices and active lifestyles.
Our three core give-backs include:
1. Scholarship Program – We provide financial support for children to participate in extracurricular activities, sports, and fitness programs, covering costs for registration, uniforms, and equipment so that every child has the chance to play, move, and belong.
2. Recess Kits & School Outreach– We deliver O.A.K. Recess Kits to elementary schools across the community—packed with fun, movement-based equipment and messages of whole health. Each visit includes Oakly the O.A.K. Tree, who helps us teach kids about balance, wellness, and the power of taking care of their minds and bodies.
3. PlaySmart Education Initiative – In partnership with PlaySafe USA, we bring the PlaySmart program to schools and athletic communities to educate student-athletes, parents, coaches, and supporters on the risks and dangers of opioid misuse and the importance of prevention through awareness and healthy choices.
Together, these programs make up Operation Active Kids—building stronger roots for healthier, more active generations to come.
