Pioneer Ultra Races was started by Jeff Pappalardo and Ben Kinley, two Lexington KY runners who wanted to make sure there was ultra distance racing in the Red River Gorge for years to come. Our mission is to host awesome ultra distance trailrunning events in the Bluegrass Region and in Daniel Boone National Forest. You can find us at Mirror Twin Run Club, West Sixth Run Club, coffee shops around Lexington, or scattered around the trails when time permits.
