Thirty one years ago, race director Bill Burke followed his heart and opened an endurance production company that would take ordinary places and create extraordinary memories for athletes that would last a lifetime.  With that mission and unlimited passion, Premier Event Management was born in July of 1994!  Specializing in the production of running, cycling and triathlon events across the country, Premier Event Management has produced some of the largest participation events in the world in those three categories.  

Prior to July of 1994, Bill who had a passion for running, had the opportunity of a lifetime to work on and assist event founder Mac DeVaughn, on the production of the inaugural Crescent City Classic 10K.  On September 23, 1979 the Crescent City Classic was born with 912 runners and the rest is history!   From 1979 to 1993 Bill was a part of the magic that still thrives today at the CCC10K!  Today the Crescent City Classic 10K, is one of the best and biggest 10K events in the United States!
