Equipping practitioners for excellence in person-and family-centered
life-limiting, end-of-life, and grief care delivery
Engaging professional education to advance practitioners’ knowledge & skills
Training development & facilitation to advance organizations’ continuous learning opportunities
The continuing education courses at Ripple of Light have been an invaluable part of my professional growth. The small class sizes create a comfortable, engaging environment where I can truly connect with both Dr. Guistwite (Dr. Julie) and other participants. She brings expert knowledge and real-world experience, making the skills we learn not only practical but adaptable to a variety of settings. I especially appreciate the breakout sessions—they give me the chance to practice techniques in a supportive space and leave feeling confident to apply them in my work. I highly recommend these trainings to any professional looking to deepen their skills in grief and bereavement care. Crystal Weiss, LCSW, CCTP, CDP, CGP
Through her (Julie) thoughtful and practical sessions, she has helped many participants feel more able to care for others during some of the hardest parts of ministry (end-of-life, grief, and mental health care). A highlight of her sessions is the opportunity for participants to engage with the topic through case studies and role plays. Rev. Dr. Audrey Hollenberg-Duffey, Director of Susquehanna Valley Ministry Center
I have taken many of Julie’s CEU classes and continue to return because I always leave feeling more prepared and inspired in my work with clients. Julie is an insightful and passionate instructor, and it comes through in every class she teaches. She encourages discussion, welcomes group participation, and creates space for sharing ideas and perspectives, which makes the learning experience feel collaborative. Julie is always open to questions and provides practical tips and real-world approaches for working with clients. Each class leaves me with fresh ideas and meaningful ways to connect more effectively with the people I work with. Faye

Professional Education:
Engaging live, remote and self-study/recorded webinar continuing education (CE) options in evolving areas of serious illness, end-of-life, and grief care delivery. Collaborative learning, application-based skill advancement, and best practices form the basis of training development and facilitation.
CE Opportunities:
I signed up for Julie Guistwite’s training "Strategies to Strengthen the "Livable" Quality of Life Among Persons with Life-Limiting Conditions” in hopes of learning new ways to support my Long COVID patients, as well as applying the learnings to other chronic and limiting conditions that my clients present with. With 40 years of clinical experience, finding a presenter who incorporates research based and extremely current findings is not always the norm. Julie is a thorough and excellent trainer. She shared both research-based concepts, and their application to clinical practice. Julie’s depth of expertise in grief, loss and adjustment is a hallmark of her presentation. I have sought her out for clinical considerations since that time and value her perspectives greatly. Gretchen Kitsos, LICSW, Private Practice @ gretchenkitsoslicsw.com
