2026 Race Team

Run five races. Run eight races. Get rewarded. Every pace. Every mile. 

Choose from 12 eligible races throughout the 2026 season as part of the Wyoming Valley Striders Race Team. 

Participation requires current WVS membership. Members must purchase the official WVS Race Team singlet from the club at the discounted race team price and pay applicable race entry fees.

Rules:

  • Run 5 races (including 2 WVS-hosted) — Receive $50.

  • Run 8 races (including 3 WVS-hosted) — Receive $100 + special recognition at the End-of-Year Social.

  • Reimbursements are issued after the final race in the series (Diamonds).

*Must complete the minimum WVS-hosted races to be eligible for reimbursement. 

Eligible Races:


The WVS Vince Wojnar Triple Crown will continue to consist of the Winter’s End Run, Cherry Blossom Run, and 20K Run.

Requirements:

To receive credit toward the Wyoming Valley Striders Race Team program, participants must meet all of the following requirements for each race they wish to count. Failure to meet any requirement will result in that race not being eligible for rewards.

  1. Must be a Wyoming Valley Striders member in good standing. Renew or join here.

  2. Must purchase an official WVS Race Team singlet from the club at the discounted race team price.

    Those who registered for the team before Winter’s End will have first dibs on their requested singlet size.

  3. The team singlet must be worn during each qualifying race.

  4. Must submit a photo from each race showing the athlete wearing the team singlet and race bib (photo may be taken at the start, on course, or at the finish).

  5. If a race offers a team or club competition, or includes a team/club name field during registration, the athlete must register as a Wyoming Valley Striders Race Team member.

  6. No substitutions or deferrals will be permitted.

  7. Race documentation must be submitted within seven (7) days of each race to be eligible for credit. Submissions received after this deadline will not be accepted.

  8. Send photos via Facebook Messenger or email to WyomingValleyStriders@gmail.com.

  9. All reimbursements will be issued after the conclusion of the final race in the series (Diamonds).
