- NIGHT Markt is ONLY adults.
- NIGHT Markt - minimum age is 15 years old - bring ID for verification. No infants admitted to ADULT NIGHT markt. No exceptions.
- Parking is at 4461 North Highway 17 , Awendaw
- Busses will transport ALL attendees to the venue. There is NO PARKING or CHECK-IN at the venue.
- Pets are NOT allowed.
- Please have Ticket link ready for scanning at the parking lot and an ID in hand for a wristband for purchasing Bar drinks.
- Your event is a total of 4 hours. The venue will be cleared before the following market.
Event Description
Gather your family and friends for CHRISTkindlmarkt Charleston 2025 and experience an authentic and romantic Christmas Market inspired by the first one held in Dresden, Germany in 1434 ... the Middle Ages! The festive atmosphere at CHRISTkindlmarkt Charleston includes shopping the wares of artisan makers, seasonal gifts from local entrepreneurs, holiday decor and traditional handcrafts from Germany! Sip German beer made according to the Purity Laws in Germany, in the biergarten. Enjoy Gluhwein, the famous hot mulled wine of the German Christkindlmarkts. Dine on brats, snacks, and sweet treats from food vendors. Take time to slow down and experience the peace of the season under the oaks by day or by fireside at night! We also invite all to celebrate the Advent season and CHRISTmas at each Markt closing with DAY Markt story-time (4:40p.m.) or NIGHT Markt gathering for vespers and carols (9:40p.m.), We look forward to hosting the celebration of Christmas with you for the first time or as part of your annual traditions!

GLUHWEIN collectors cup 2025 ???? YES, A limited quantity of pre-sale wine cups are available for purchase in the online STOREFRONT at checkout. The color and design for 2025 will be revealed at markt opening. Therefore, don't miss out, purchase online now and pick up in-person only on the day associated with your ticket. Take your pre-purchased cup to the Bierhaus Bar and purchase the Gluhwein at the bar for the re-fill price. A LIMITED NUMBER of wine cups are available each market, however they do typically sell out each market. Gluhwein will remain available.

NIGHT MARKT (6-10 pm) admission is ONLY adults.
DAY Markt (1-5 pm) and is all ages. Age 5 and under are free.
Tickets are advanced purchase only.
WEATHER: This is a rain or shine event, and tickets are non-refundable. After all, in Germany they brave rain, cold, and snow to gather at their Christmas markets.
PARKING: Arrival is at 4461 N US -17 in Awendaw All guests are transported to and from the event venue by Busses. NO PARKING or SCANNING at the VENUE.
EVENT CHECK IN: Tickets are scanned and ID's verified for over age 21 alcoholic beverages at the Ticket Entry Tent. Have your confirmation and ID"s ready please.
PETS: NO pets are allowed at any Markt. No exceptions due to waterfowl and wildlife at the private property.
TICKET TRANSFERS: Ticket transfers are available with restrictions (no transfer into a market date if sold out). Transfers are the responsibility of the ticket holder not CHRISTkindlmarkt CHS. See the MANAGE YOUR TICKETS BUTTON BELOW.
ALCOHOL PURCHASE/Food: If purchasing alcohol, a valid ID for age 21 over proof will be necessary. No outside food or drink is allowed; however, it is available for purchase with credit card and cash (at some stalls).
TIMED TICKET: Your ticket purchase is for a 4-hour time markt, a DAY ticket or NIGHT ticket. The venue will be cleared at the end of each market.
HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY: . handicapped parking is available for all with proper vehicle placards. The event is accessible, however the terrain varies and the spaces are distanced so please be aware. We do have handicap transport avaialble, however it is limited to physical handicaps that prevent boarding a bus. We appreciate your cooperation.
